Wearing a bike helmet can reduce the risk of head injuries by 85%, brain injuries by 88%, and severe brain injuries by at least 75%. Yet, only about 15% of kids 14 and under wear helmets while biking. Let’s change that! Bring your child to the free **LIDS FOR KIDS** community event on Saturday, May 31, 10am-12pm, at Garfield Park in Grand Rapids (Burton & Jefferson Entrance). Get your child a FREE properly fitted helmet, learn about bike safety, have fun playing games—and while you’re there, enter your child for a chance to WIN a brand-new bicycle.
